Jump before you are pushed

A few years ago we produced a weekend breakfast show which for one reason or another was about to get the chop. Having a good relationship with the presenters we told them about their imminent demise. Sensibly they resigned, left the show and went straight on to better things. We have a feeling the the venerable Terry Wogan has decided to do much the same thing, which goes a lot to explain his longevity in this business. As a bonus he will get a nice weekend show that will take him even further into his dotage - so well done Wogan.. we JUST wonder how Chris Evans will be received by the Wogan audience.
